Our operators are fully trained and are fluent speakers of English, French, Swahili (the Language of East Africa), Kirundi (Language of Burundi), and Kifuliro ( a Language of Congo). We have extensive relationships with different Christian ministries and churches across this region that allow us to facilitate the missions experience that you desire. This includes trips to missionary bases, orphanages, churches, historic Christian sites and various kinds of Christian outreach in our region.

Our Directors

Jonas Joe NIYONKUR

I was born in in Congo to Burundian parents. At age 9 I moved to Burundi and after secondary school had the opportunity to study at an English school for 6 years during which time, I supported myself as a Taxi driver. In 2011, I graduated with a certificate of translation from Youth for Christ English school.

In 2004 I had become a Christian and after my graduation I supported different missionary teams from around the world as a translator, guide and driver. In 2012 I joined YWAM Burundi and completed my DTS in 2013 and continued to work with YWAM as a translator until 2019. Following this I spent time working with a Hope and Light Initiative in Congo rescuing orphans out of prostitution. This work became very dangerous, and the organisation was forced to withdraw.

I am grateful to God for the opportunity to speak 4 languages fluently and for the many opportunities I have had to translate for foreign speakers at churches, conferences, in tourism and in crusades.

My personal interests are playing the guitar, bass guitar, drums and leading worship and studying Burundian church History.
